Zambia may be at the bottom of a list which features countries ordered alphabetically, but it should be much further up your list of must-visit destinations. Most of our tours here take place near the border with Zimbabwe, where you will find the thunderous Victoria Falls, the Zambezi River and the wild landscapes of the Lower Zambezi National Park.
Zambia is on the rise as one of the best safari destinations in Africa. It is home to a wide range of bird species, as well as the iconic big game animals that you would expect to find in this part of the world. You will be able to experience different types of wildlife spotting, in the form of walking safaris, game drives and even canoeing adventures along the river. As you paddle down a tranquil section of the Zambezi, you might come across elephants enjoying a cool drink, hippos taking a mud bath and cunning crocodiles on the hunt for their next meal.
Another great place for wildlife is South Luangwa National park, located further north. It is not uncommon to see lions and giraffes here and you can even continue your wildlife watching when you retire to your authentic bush lodge accommodation.
